2. The copper core sizes of Category 6 and Category 5 cables produced by cable manufacturers are different. The copper core size of Category 5 cables is below 0.45mm, while that of Category 5 cables is between 0.45mm and 0.51mm. The standard size for Category 6 cables is between 0.56mm and 0.58mm.

3. The five types of network cables produced by network cable manufacturers are labeled with "CAT5" on the outer skin, with a transmission bandwidth of 100MHz, used for voice transmission and data transmission with a maximum transmission rate of 100Mbps. They are mainly used for 100Mbps and 10Mbps networks and have been replaced by Category 5 cables.

4. Category 5 Ethernet cables produced by cable manufacturers are labeled with the word "CAT5e" on the outer surface, with a transmission bandwidth of up to 1000Mb/s. However, they are generally only used in 100Mb/s networks and only connect desktop switches to computers, as Category 5 unshielded Ethernet cables require the support of expensive special equipment.

5. Category 6 Ethernet cable: The outer layer is labeled with the word "CAT6", which generally refers to unshielded Ethernet cables. It is mainly used in gigabit networks and has much higher transmission performance than the Category 5 Ethernet cable standard.
